Playa Cerritos will host the third edition of the Pacífico Surf Open Cerritos 2026, one of the most important international competitive surfing events coming to Baja California Sur.
More than 120 national and international surfers will compete over four days as part of the World Surf League Qualifying Series QS 2,000, where athletes compete for valuable points on the international circuit and the opportunity to progress toward the Challenger Series and, ultimately, the Championship Tour.
Among the confirmed names are Alan Cleland Jr., Jhony Corzo, Sebastian Williams and local surfer Lucas Cassity, alongside competitors arriving from the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Finland, Puerto Rico and Barbados.
For four days, Cerritos Beach will be firmly on the international surfing map.
